Fighting Words, Part I

"With Plymouth making a bold bid for honours, today's

game should prove more than interesting and our lads

will have to give of their best if they are to gain the day.

We know that there are quite a number of Plymouth

supporters with us this afternoon who have made the long

journey from the West, together with many Devonians

domiciled in London, eager to see their team consolidate

their position. We trust they will forgive us if we say

that for once we hope they will be disappointed."
