Harlem Heritage Tours offered its first

Malcolm X tour this weekend. The history

around Malcolm X is recent enough that one

woman in our group had worked at a bakery

that Malcolm X frequented; another fellow,

at the conclusion of the tour, knew Malcolm X,

noting that his street name was Detroit Red.

'Red Foxx was Chicago Red, and Malcolm X was

Detroit Red.' Find that in your history text!
