Canal Street cuts across Manhattan a half-dozen blocks

below Houston, running from just aboveTribeca in the

East to Chinatown and the Manhattan Bridge in the West.

The sidewalks of Canal Street are packed -- with sunglasses,

perfume, baseball hats, woolen caps, t-shirts and jewelry.

But that's not the half of it; not by a long shot. Herewith,

a small sample of the things available on Canal Street --

on just one side of Canal Street -- one day in November.
